Basic Height Limitation

Simple Safe One 'SS1' is our entry level Height Limitation solution ideal for when the sophistication of our XWSeries product range is not required.  The simple key operation of this solution and installation that requires no calibration means that if you have a competent plant fitter amongst your team the solution could potentially be ‘self-installed’.  'SS1' is an angular limiter courtesy of a gyro compensated sensor with near direct drive performance that can be used to monitor the angle of virtual any moving piece of equipment.  When reaching the set angle, the system can control standard ON/OFF valves or Proportional valves providing a controlled 'soft-stop' at the set limit.  With a simple three position key operation and audible indication to aid the operator the solution exceeds our Clear View, Clear Mind philosophy.  Unlike any other basic Height Limiter the 'SS1' has optional data logging and telematics so you can tether your basic limiters to the same desktop dashboard as your Rated Capacity Limiters , real time Height Limiters  and Slew Limiters as we don’t differentiate between basic limiters or more sophisticated solutions.  We look at site safety as one connected site.

Simple Safe Two 'SS2'

Roll Over Monitor

Simple Safe Two 'SS2' is our Roll Over Monitor ideal for mini excavators, dumpers and similar Off Highway Plant.  Designed to provide both warning and protection for a variety of mobile plant where over-turning can occur. 

Simple Safe Two uses a compact controller coupled with a three-axis platform angle sensor; designed to be robust, reliable and cost effective.  An optional secondary sensor for a second platform can be supplied if required.  SS2 supports optional telematics which can providing data logging and bringing your Roll Over Monitor to the connected site.


At the point of installation, a maximum roll angle can be set from 1 to 32 degrees (0 - 63%).  When this maximum Pitch or Roll is exceeded an audible alarm is sounded.  Intelligent filtering is used to separate actual machine tilt from bouncing and vibration.  In the unfortunate event of a roll-over the SS2 has a signal output that can be used to cut the engine and/or activate a siren or beacon.

The control module samples data from the angle sensor(s) 250 times a second providing precise real time monitoring.


Installation can be completed by any competent plant technician.  There are no moving parts so the SS2 is maintenance free requiring only an occasional visual inspection of the system components.

Vertical Monitor

'RCi' Lite

RCi Lite


RCi Lite is one of a suite of safety products that has been designed to couple clarity and simplicity with accuracy and reliability while remaining compliant.  RCi Lite can be configured to work on any type of hydraulic excavator providing overload protection with optional motion control to prevent unsafe operation, allowing the machine to be used to its full capacity.  RCi Lite is the economical solution for general civil lifting applications when more complex options are not required.  Standard systems includes an external alarm, required by law. Options include a Supervisor key switch, external warning light, internal alarm and Telematics.  When the RCi function is not required, RCi Lite can function as a basic digging system allowing the accurate excavation of level trenches and basements.  With the exception of periodic inspection, RCi Lite is maintenance free.  Where added functionality is or may be required in the future we would recommend our XW2 to future proof your investment which adds proportionally controlled height limiting to the RCi, and the XW5 which adds both Height & Slew Limiting.

System components


I/O Controller - solid state, fully potted IP67; generally mounted in pump or engine bay.  With <10mS program cycle time.  All inputs and outputs have full electrical protection and diagnostics, dual CAN bus connectivity, requires 8 - 32VDC supply.  Manual Override key should it be required. 


Display - solid state 2.8” backlit colour LCD with six backlit tactile keys, window or dash mounted.


Angle sensors - A compact solid state 3-axis accelerometer mounted on each articulation.


Pressure sensors - two IP67 stainless steel 400 bar; 4 - 20mA pressure transducers monitoring the full side & rod side of the main lift ram.

XWSeries TMi


Designed to couple clarity and simplicity with accuracy and reliability while complying with all the current industry standards.  The XWSeries TMi can be configured to work on most types of hydraulic plant providing overload protection with optional motion control to prevent unsafe operation yet allowing the machine to be used to its full capacity. 


XWSeries TMi is the economical solution for general civil lifting activities. 

Calibrated with bare front-end equipment ensuring accurate operation regardless of attached implements, load radius, and load height.  The XWSeries TMi is available with either a colour LCD display, or a simple ‘traffic light’ indicator.  Both systems provide internal and external alarms, and an external beacon 'ON' when the system is active.  An optional supervisor key switch is available for the LCD display to prevent tampering.  Where motion control valves are fitted, the LCD version can provide angular height limitation.
