LiuGong Loading Shovel gets VEi Weighing solution

Sphere 24’s original Weighloader manufacture stopped producing its Weighing solution as it was not core to their market aspirations, leaving Sphere 24 with no Weighing solution to service its existing weighing customer base. This also meant that the UK had very little choice on manufacture when making a purchase decision. We instantly knew where to look for our next solution, Italy! Sphere Vision 360 HD & 'Ai' People Recognition

This Doosan DL300-5 received a full Sphere Vision 360 HD solution with forward, rear and side facing cameras Inc. Hard Disk Recording ‘HDR’. The four images from each camera are stitched together in real time to provide the operator with a full 360, birds eye view of the area immediately around the machine. For added safety the customer requested additional personnel detection at the rear of the machine. RFID detection was not suitable for this application, another method was required. So we employed the latest Artificial Intelligence ‘Ai’ solution . To achieve this two further cameras were installed at the rear of the machine. Unlike other solutions that will sense not only people but all solid objects which can result in the system constantly bleeping and leading the operator to become frustrated and more complacent with every bleep, this solution will recognise people. When personnel are detected the system won’t bleep but will announce ‘Pedestrian Detected’ and place a box around the individual(s), like that of your smart phone. This solution supports our #ClearMind #ClearView philosophy by only interacting with the operator when needed.
